Tramando Latinoamérica is a publishing directed by Layra, a dyer AKA @kaialanas, and Veronica, a designer AKA @elcrucexverov, from San Carlos de Bariloche, in Río Negro (Argentina).
These fabric lovers have achieved to call 20 designers from Chile, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Brasil, Venezuela, and Argentina. All of them have joined the initiative of creating exclusive designs for this book, whose unifying thread is Latin American culture.
It gathers patterns from designers that are very famous, like Tejiendo Perú, Ahuyama, MammaDIY o Mamaquilla, in the same volume. There are also patterns from novice knitters that joined the publishing and they have joined to stay.
Joined by threads, all 20 designers gather eleven different textile techniques (crochet, tricot, colorwork, tapestry, intarsia, c2c, overlay, latch hooking, mosaic crochet, and amigurumi, among others). Each pattern is accompanied by explanations, pictures of each step of the process, and videos.
