Stone Knits | Christmas ‘Cup of Hot Cocoa socks’ colourwork socks workshop. An introduction to colourwork sock knitting
Get ready to knit the colourwork section of Stone Knits’ popular “Cup of Hot Cocoa” sock pattern (and have them ready to give or wear for Christmas 2025!).
In this workshop, you will learn various techniques to enable you to knit small circumferences with colourwork. Charlotte will show you the best colour combinations to knit in colorwork, she will review the techniques to knit colorwork in English and continental style. She will explain how to knit 3 colours in one row, learn more about gauge and tension to get your socks to fit well, long floats management, fixing mistakes and Charlotte’s own personal tips and tricks for knitting her own colourwork sock designs (many which she will bring with her. I will also be demonstrating how to duplicate stitch details too and how to weave in ends with colourwork.
