Behind HipKnitShop, a fresh, colourful and soft universe for people who love to knit, is Catharina. Her designs are often inspired by the style and colours of the 80’s with a fun and playful look.
This paediatric nurse from Northern Norway, a mum of three, started knitting in 2015. She soon started creating her own patterns to find something she missed: creative and colourful knitwear. Since then, she has knitted a lot: from toys and dresses to animals, bags, pillows and jumpers. She uses different techniques and always emphasizes her joy in the process which is reflected in her patterns and vibrant colours.

Remember that to access Barcelona Knits you must go to the ticket office to exchange your ticket for a non-transferable wristband.
No type of ticket (for workshops, activities, Saturday, Sunday or weekend) has preferential access to the workshops or exhibition area. The capacity of the WTC Barcelona is limited. There may be queues outdoors, especially on Saturday morning.
