Laura, besides being the owner of the well-known wool store Mimosa Café Lanar, is a teacher and knitting pattern designer.
She studied Audiovisual Communication, specialized in film theory and worked as public relations and showroom manager for a fashion-luxury brand in Madrid.
In 2017, she opened the physical store Mimosa Café Lanar in Asturias. In 2020, she reorganized the business to stay only with the online sales and pattern design area. In 2023, she created her own wool brand, Cottagecore.
