The key to design, modify and crochet your own jumpers with confidence is to understand how to construct top down jumper patterns with circular yoke.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced crocheter, Lena will give you helpful tips on how to achieve the most comfortable fit  for your jumpers and all the inspiration you need to take your crochet projects to the next level.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • Circular yoke construction in detail
  • Explanation of key measurements and how to grade or simply choose the right size
  • Polished start from the beginning, including the best ways to begin your sweater’s neckline
  • How to add extra back rows for a higher back neck for a perfect fit
  • How to add underarm bridges and fix unexpected sizing mistakes “as you go”
  • Edging variety: different types of edgings and their compatibility with the main sweater’s stitch pattern

  • One skein of yarn of a DK/Sport weight (ready to use, wound into cake or ball)
  • 4.5mm size crochet hook
  • 10 stitch markers

Homework: 12x12cm swatch in the linen (moss) stitch worked in same yarn you will bring to the workshop
