Zanete went from software developer to knitwear designer to challenge her limits and be an inspiration. Knitting jumpers and cardigans became a way to express her creativity and find peace amidst the chaos of everyday life. She discovered the importance of practical guidance to help her understand the process. She learned to create patterns and knitting guides. In this way, she launched Zanete Knits to inspire others who want to create beautiful garments and feel more fulfilled.
Within three years, her patterns reached a community of over thirty thousand people. Today, Zanete is a recognised influencer in knitwear design. She is known for her innovative use of traditional Latvian folklore motifs in modern colourful garments. She is also known for her ability to push the boundaries of what is possible with yarns. She has been featured in numerous knitting magazines and knitters all over the world rely on her patterns.

The Secret to Mastering the Japanese Short Row Technique
